Dear Editor,
Attractive cover with enriching contents is what I have raved about your November 2011 issue of Motherhood Magazine.
Back in Singapore after spending five years overseas and pregnant with my 1st child, your November issue was the first local parenting magazine I bought. Your gorgeous cover kid, with such beguiling eyes and cherubic smile (we'd love to see more of him!) certainly enticed me to pick it up. Since then, I've been poring through the pages with my husband and particularly enjoyed the section on Early Years’ Making A Genius. We find the prenatal education stimulation methods discussed in "A Smart Start" interesting and also a great way of bonding with our bub! And your articles on travelling with kids have prepared us better as we look forward to planning our 1st memorable overseas trip with our new baby in the near future.
Thank you & congratulations on such a great issue!
Regards,
Sanga Tay
To the team of Motherhood,
I am writing to congratulate you for Motherhood fair that you organized at Singapore Expo from Thurs to Sunday. My family and I went there and the talks and events on the stage were interesting. I especially enjoyed the one on massage. I received many freebies just from the subscription of your magazine! On top of that, my baby received a free photo shot and he looks gorgeous as a Motherhood cover baby-wannabe. Thank you for this annual event and we will be looking forward to next year's.
Regards,
SL
Dear editor,
I started reading your magazine when my daughter was born seven years back and now with a nine-month-old son your magazine is a part of my life. It covers a wide variety of topics and I would like to thank you especially for the "baby bites topic". I keep buying finger foods for my baby son but never know whether he likes it or not. Now with the readers views I can buy the best for my baby and I am sure he will like it.
"Eating for 2 " is also very well written and I have kept the article to share it with my pregnant friend.
Thanks once again for the wonderful magazine that every month your team comes up with and becomes a friend to mothers like us.
Yours truly,
Sweta Agarwal
Being
a mother of one, I’d like to say a word of thanks to
Motherhood for its invaluable and useful advice. I now
subscribe and look forward to every issue. Prior to reading
Motherhood I have never been inclined to keep the magazine.
But now I hold on to every issue as the variety of articles in
Motherhood can be kept for a lifetime use. The variety of
information is also extremely entertaining. Here’s a salute
to motherhood for all the great articles! Keep up the good
work.
- Tammy
Tan, mother of a three-year-old.
I
was on my way home from work, when I passed by a newsstand.
The April’s issue of Motherhood really caught my eye.
After looking at the April’s cover, I did not think it was
possible to have another cover that was as fabulous. However,
you did it again. The May’s cover was even nicer. Ever since
then, I have decided to subscribe to your magazine. Kudos’
to your team. I look forward to receiving my June issue. Keep
up the good work! I was wondering if you could run an article
on circumcision though. -
Susan Lau, mother of a four-year-old.
I
am a regular on your Motherhood web site, and I must commend
you on the recent improvements. I am going to be a mum soon
and it is my first time, so I appreciate all the help I can
get. Motherhood web site is a one-stop portal. Through your
web site, I’ve also made friends on the forum. So now I
don’t feel like the only one who seems to have so many
questions and worries. I’ve been reassured, informed and
even entertained by your good ideas and stories. I’ve even
made it my homepage! Three cheers! - Rina Sim, a
mum-to-be.
I’ve
never been the sort to actually write in to a magazine to
express my thoughts or thank them for their great articles.
But after reading May’s issue, I had to write in to express
my gratitude. I am a month away from delivering, and your
article, “Ultimate Guide to Your Growing Baby”, really
made me feel closer to the lil' one growing in me. The story
of birthing in South Africa also proved to be an interesting
read and so was miracle fat busters: truth or myth? All I can
say is, Keep up the good work motherhood. I really can’t
wait to put the knowledge I have acquired from reading your
magazine to good use. - Juliana, a mum-to-be.
This
is the first magazine I have picked up ever since giving birth
to twins’ three years ago. I never saw the need to pick up a
parenting magazine as I thought the articles would be similar
to what’s available online. Boy was I wrong. Also, thank you
for you hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) article. When I
first read about HFMD in the newspaper I was very worried. But
your article has helped understand it better and I’m now
aware of necessary precautions I should take. Thank you for
putting my mind at ease and do keep up the good work!
- Violet
Lim, mother of a twin three-year-olds.
“I have
been a loyal follower of Motherhood long before I even got
pregnant! And now that I’m expecting my first child, I look
forward to putting into practice all that I’ve learnt! Thank
you for the useful articles that has prepared me for what may
just be the most challenging journey in my life!”- Lorraine
Tan, mum-to-be.
“Hi!
I would love to meet more mums and share my experiences.
Motherhood magazine has given me more insight into motherhood
than any other magazines.” – Neelam, mother of a
five-year-old girl.
“I
really enjoy reading Motherhood. It has accompanied me through
the various stages of my pregnancy, birth as well as the
upbringing of my two kids. And now, even though my kids are
already five and three, I still find the magazine an
invaluable source of information.”– Linda Than, mother of
two kids.
“I
have been reading Motherhood since I gave birth. I wish that
someone had introduced this magazine to me before I got
pregnant. I could have done with more information then.”
–
Julia Kim, mother of a three-month-old baby.
“I
simply love recipes segment in the magazine. The pictures look
so lovely. I even tried out the recipes featured in the
February issue. Not only were they simple to do, but they were
simply delicious!” – Angelina Durai, mother of a
15-month-old baby.
“I
was given a copy of Motherhood when I was pregnant with my
first child in 2002. Although, my son is already four years’
old, I still subscribe to Motherhood as I find the materials
worth reading. I have actually seen the magazine evolve over
time. It just keeps getting better!” – Mindy Tan, mother
of a four-year-old kid.
“I
enjoy the recipes segment. I think that maybe Motherhood
should also consider doing recipes for the novice cooks as
well.” - Julia, pregnant mum-to-be.
“I
like the fashion pages but would really prefer to see a
fashion spread catered for young babies. Thanks!” – Siti
Norazia, mother of six-month-old baby.
