Pregnancy Confinement Family Weaning Kids Suggest a Recipe
Spaghetti Bolognaise
 
Go Italian! It's never too early to introduce baby to international flavours.
For babies between 9 to 12 months

1 small onion diced
1 clove garlic
2 teaspoons canola oil
200 g mince beef
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup grated zucchini
1 tin tomatoes
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1/2 cup water
1 cup cooked pasta spirals

1. Heat oil in non-stick pan.
2. Fry garlic and onion until soft.
3. Add mince beef and cook till tender.
4. Add carrot and fry a further 2 minutes.
5. Add zucchini, tinned tomatoes, tomato paste and water.
6. Bring to boil. Simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with spiral pasta.

Variation: Add mushroom slices or substitute the meat with seafood for a change.
