Pregnancy Confinement Family Weaning Kids Suggest a Recipe
Fish, Rice & Vegetable Puree
 
Add a torch of variety to your baby's diet! This recipe is a complete meal on it's own.
For babies between 4 to 6 months

1 fillet fish (sole or threadfin)
2 tablespoons well boiled rice
1 piece sweet potato
3 slices steamed zucchini

1. Steam fish for 20 minutes until cooked.
2. Boil sweet potato until tender.
3. Steam zucchini for 10 minutes.
4. Blend all ingredients together.
5. Add cool boiled water if the mixture needs to be thinned down.

Take It Slow...
Introduce new foods to your baby one at a time, and preferably with a few days in between each new food. This gives you the opportunity to check if any food upsets your baby.

Variation: For a change, substitute the fish with a piece of chicken breast.
