Pregnancy Confinement Family Weaning Kids Suggest a Recipe
Banana & Sultana Muffins
 
For a healthy afternoon snack for baby, try this wholesome muffin recipe.
For babies between 9 to 12 months

2 cups self-raising flour
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup sultanas
2 medium banana mashed
1/4 baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
2. Grease the muffin pan or prepare small paper cake cases.
3. Blend together the margarine and sugar and then mix in the egg and banana.
4. Combine the dry ingredients and then mix this into the wet ingredients.
5. Place in muffin tins or paper cases and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

Variation: You may add in chopped nuts or chocolate chips if you wish.
