Pregnancy Confinement Family Weaning Kids Suggest a Recipe

To ensure that you get all the nutrients you need during pregnancy, wise snacking is essential, especially if you're having trouble eating nutritious main meals. Dates and walnuts provide a good source of fibre, vitamins and minerals.
Serves: 6 people

125 g margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup walnuts
1 1/4 cups self-raising flour
1 egg

1. Press in greased rectangular tin.
2. Bake in moderate oven for 20 minutes.
3. Cut while still warm.
