Minestrone Soup

Soups are great tummy fillers. If your child is not much of an eater, try offering him soup instead.
Serves: 4 people

80 g alphabet-shaped pasta
1/2 cup celery (chopped)
1/2 cup french beans (chopped)
1/2 cup carrots (chopped)
1 cup cooked chicken breast (cubes)
220 g canned tomatoes (chopped)
1 tablespoon tomato puree
4 cups chicken stock
salt and pepper to taste

1. Boil pasta following the instructions on the package, drain and set aside.
2. Boil stock in a large saucepan, add in all the ingredients and cooked pasta, simmer covered for 20 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and serve warm.
