Pizzas are fun and simply delicious. They are easy to prepare and can be nutritious with the right choice of toppings.
Serves: 10 people
For dough
300 g plain or self-raising flour
125 ml warm water
25 g frozen yeast
25 g brown sugar
a pinch of salt
an egg
For topping
500 g cooked beef
1 can button mushroom
1 can diced pineapple
1 packet mixed vegetables
2 large spring onions
2 large capsicums
1 pack grated mozzarella cheese
1 bottle chilli sauce
1 bottle tomato sauce
1.
Mix yeast and sugar in the warm water. Stir until the mixture is dissolved.
2.
Mix flour, egg and a pinch of salt and add the yeast mixture slowly to form a dough.
3.
Put the dough aside, covering it with a damp cloth. Leave it to rise for at least half an hour.
4.
Once the dough rises, cut it into 4 pieces and flatten it in a pizza pan. Bake it for about 10 minutes. (For kids, you may make a very small base so that it looks more appetising.)
5.
When the dough is half cooked, arrange toppings and bake for another 20 minutes. Serve warm.
