The Reluctant Dragon & Wind in the Willows
Back by popular demand, this double bill musical theatre
performance will delight everyone from the ages of six to 101.
Be educated and entertained by these two quirky and whimsical
tales that deal with themes of multiculturalism, racial harmony
and personal roots. Accompanied by the Singapore Lyric Opera
Children’s Choir with charming music by John Rutter, this
dynamic visual feast comes alive before your senses.

Yeeha! Dance Laugh and Sing
with Scotty and Lulu
Pre-school pop sensations Scotty and Lulu are in town to
entertain you with their lively song and dance renditions. What
happens when Lulu falls under the spell of his PSD (portable
gaming device) and forgets all about song and play? Watch Scotty
and Lulu’s magical adventure with special guests Professor Fou,
Haggie the Highlander, Romans, cavemen, cowboys and Thor the
Dinosaur. So if you love to laugh and dance on your seat, to
shout out loud and jump to the beat to whirl and twirl with
friends in the street then Yee Ha! is the perfect treat for your
kids

Props! & Murmurs Workshop
Get creative with your kids as you learn how to make a storybook
together, from scratch in the Props! Workshop. This is
definitely a great opportunity for a parent child bonding and
learning experience. Speaking of learning, delve into creative
play with the Murmurs Workshop and allow your toddlers to learn
more about their environment and also themselves. Facilitated by
an art specialist, parents can choose from 5 thematic workshops.

Moon Bird
Moon Bird was blowing bubbles when one day, one of them popped
on the Earth baby Prince Orla, surrounding him in silence. Join
them in this mystical journey as Orla learns to speak with his
hands and listen with his ears. This enthralling production
makes use of various puppetry techniques, as well as mask and
live acting. With the help of the Singapore Association for the
Deaf, audience members will be taught how to use and understand
certain simple Sign notation.

Out of the Box!
Festival of Puppet Theatre
The Festival of Puppet Theatre is here again and this time this
festival promises bigger and more interesting styles of
puppetry! There will be a series of highly-acclaimed,
international puppet productions from countries as far as
Ireland and Sweden. This year the festival will be targeted
towards kids and will have more animal stories.
When: 12-18 May

National Runway Cycling and Skating 2008
The annual National Runway Cycling & Skating 08 is back this
year at the Paya Lebar Air Base. This much-anticipated mass
cycling-cum-inline skating event provides a great opportunity
for both competitive and leisure sports enthusiasts to enjoy the
sport they love on a common runway.
